MESSMATE REDGUM BLEND Chopping Board/Serving Platter 100% Reclaimed Aussie Timber
This unique piece has been created using reclaimed Messmate timber from the supports of a 1940’s home in Melbourne’s East, Australia. With 77 years of a life well lived, the result is beautifully historic. You can see the now filled nail holes where the nails were hammered into the timber by hand. The Redgum was salvaged from a 50-year-old fence that blew down in the wind of November 2015, Melbourne. You can see the nail marks where the nails were hammered into the timber by hand. All holes have been filled so that it will not hold any of your food crumbs, but the result is beautifully historic.
