REDGUM CHOPPING BLOCK WITH FORGED METAL HANDLES 100% Reclaimed Aussie Timber
The Redgum used in this mammoth chopping block was salvaged from a 50-year-old fence that blew down in the wind of November 2015, Melbourne. You can see the nail marks where the nails were hammered into the timber by hand. All holes have been filled so that it will not hold any of your food crumbs, yet the edges have been left near natural. The result is beautifully historic.
A truly substantial piece. Crafted from Redgum this Chopping Block can be placed in a permanent place without ever worrying about putting it away. This Block is embellished with two forged metal handles – rustic, edgy and in a class of its own.
Prepared on both sides making this board reversible. Measures: 44 x 40 x 10cm weight: 16.7kg
